I love them all, what's great about central and southern Mexico (I'm not as much of a fan of the north) is that almost every city is amazing and they're all so unique. If you have to choose a single city in Mexico to go to yeah, definitely go with D.F. but I would recommend any of the other 5 I mentioned to anyone just as readily.

I wonder what the best season for someone visiting Mexico is! And of course New Zealand....but it is really too far. (Who knows- if I keep it in my mind all the time and think positive ) !!! I took a cheap local flight that landed in Calama, which is less than an hour from Atacama. It's easy to get from Calama to Atacama via bus, shuttle, etc. There's also a bus that goes North from Santiago, but I don't remember how long the bus ride is.
