Australia has just announced that the overhauled flight screening rules will allow people to travel on planes with nail files, knitting needles, tweezers and some other items.

Also, there is the risk of a strike by Airport Security Screeners over the Christmas period in the state of Victoria (lets hope not!).

My Grandma used to smuggle her sewing scissors (tiny ones that were built into a necklace) onboard, haha. But she would have been glad to be able to bring knitting needles again.
