I love this pic of Prime Minister Fukuda meeting Asimo at the G8 conference. Whatever you think of the G8 malarchy I think this shot with his wife having a good old giggle is great.

If you fancy meeting Asimo yourself and you're in Tokyo, he makes regular appearances at the Miraikan museum in Odaiba. Mirai means future in Japanese - this is the museum of future science and technologies. You can also climb inside a space capsule and into a deep sea diving machine.
