Hi there smile.gif
I have booked flights to Barcelona for 16th Dec 09 and will be staying 3 weeks in Blanes. I have been to Blanes twice before, and both times experienced two completely different holidays. The first time seemed more quiet, maybe because i was younger, the second I woke up midday everyday as i had been out until the early hours of the morning partying.

This time i will be going with my boyfriend. We are not afraid to 'explore' and travel around, i know it will be out of season so we are not expecting to get an awful lot from Blanes itself. We are both young.

Although i have been there twice I have not seen alot of Barcelona, so i hope to spend time here, as the public transport is really cheap. I have had a look, and a few things i have come accross are:
* Port Aventura
* Aquarium
* Girona
* Zoo?
* La Molina Skiing
I am open to ideas and would really appreciate any ideas, also if you have eaten and drank anywhere nice, also if you have been in the Christmas season before, how was it?

Thanks smile.gif

Costa Brava is awesome! I would recommend going to Cadaques to see Dali's house - plus its mega pretty down there by the coast. And also the Dali Museum in Figueres is brilliant.

There's loads to do in Barcelona itself though... I'd head up to Park Guell where all the Gaudi architecture is. Its quite high up so you can see out over the whole city and its just a really lovely place to chill out and have a drink... fingers crossed the weather is good for you!
