Frankfurt, Germany. No idea what it'll be like as I've never been there but it was the cheapest place i could fly to. Beats staying in Blighty anyway where entrance fee to my local pub is £40 on NYE!!!!
Nice one Rich, I'm impressed with the 'for-the-hell-of-it-ness'.
I was actually in Frankfurt early this time last year and had a great time: some amazing food, excellent knees up with the locals and all that jazz. Make sure you try the
apfel wein - a local thing which they throw down their necks by the jug full. If you're a non-smoker the bar mist will kill you but you'll still have a blinder. Enjoy..

As for me, I'll be spending Chrissie and New Years in Melbourne this year, another summery festive season centred around barbecues, beers and outdoor pools. Last year was on a beach in Portugal so I'm looking forward to another random one. Should be good..
