I am humbled. As a representative of the "across the pond and down a bit self-professed Hollywood of the East Coast" I am honored by your appreciation of our small town's contributions to maintream television.

Sadly, I have never seen a whole episode of either show myself, but I hear wonderful things.

I am back home after being away for more than 12 days, trying to dust the house, and do all house chores.
Hard job, cleaning the house especially in summer time!

Tomorrow working again for a couple of hours, till the next trip. Till then I am cleaning AND dreaming of what is coming next!

Currently in Cape Town, South Africa - trying to avoid the "unusal for this time of year to be such a down pour" rain. But enjoying being here!

Yesterday we had lunch with friends in London, and today we are in Madrid.
Tomorrow morning we are going on a tour to Toledo.
Having much fun, walking a lot and taking photos, Oh by the way the people here in Madrid are so nice and helpful, and we are impressed.
A new experience every day!

I am sitting at my desk in Dubai. I have just come back to work after a week off (of doing nothing) and as it Ramadan, I am dying of thirst (not allowed to drink or eat in public (or in view at work)....so I am off to the kitchen....

I am in my flat in Dublin, contemplating tidying it, while blatantly 'playing' on the internet. Not a nice day in Dublin today - looks like the clouds are going to burst very soon...I'm so not going out...!

Now it may be because I just cleaned the windows, but the sky has gotten blue now, so I'm going out!

I am currently just outside of Ottawa, Canada [the land of travelpod!], waiting until my boyfriend can be bothered to get out of bed so we can go look at the parliament buildings! Been in Canada since Wednesday night and I love it so far, going to Montreal tonight so this should just keep getting better smile.gif

We are in Fuerteventura -Corralejo right now.
I expected it to be very hot, but was surprised because it was cool in the morning and cold in the evening.
I have already been out walking to get to know the city and surprised about the nice climate. I was walking for 3 hours, had lunch, and I am now enjoying my cup of coffee. We have -all inclusive - so we don't have to bother going out for food.
No plans today, just relaxing after so many days of traveling around.
The hotel is great and I will try to book a car to get to know the whole island.

I just got home from Egypt and Jordan yesterday after being screwed by Delta and having to stay in Atlanta one extra day because of it.

Currently back home in New Jersey. However, not even two days ago I was in Poland, the last leg of my month long trip that took me through Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

I am sat at my laptop (where else, Elaine, my partner would say!) at home in the picturesque fishing village of Çiftlikköy, close to Çeşme in western Turkey.

Looking out beyond the screen, I can see hundred of yellow melons growing in the adjoining field and just beyond across the Aegean Sea and the cloudless sky to the Greek Island of Chios. Actually, I'm stretching the imagination a little here. I would need to stand up and lean through the window to see the sea!

So, not too far away from you, as you know, my Greek friend.
