Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 4-July 09 Member No.: 284680 Nominate me as a Local Expert	Hey Iam heading to Barcelona next week and looking for someone to go with as my travelmate got a job she dont wanna refuse. Ive already made some plans but Im open to any idea. (traveling, sightseeing, bars, beaches, etc...) Martin (24)

I think that you have more chance of finding friends once you get there! If you are interested in Football, this site is run by a friend of mine in Barcelona:Footbal Site - Run from Barcelona. There are other things there other than football that you should find interesting! He also produced a book about Cataluña called "Going Native in Cataluña". You will find this most useful for info about Cataluna and Barcelona, but also tips for moving there! Good luck from John in Valencia (Local expert Valencia)

There's also a cool restaurant street full of locals if you don't want to be 'a tourist'. The street is called 'Carrer dels banys Vells' - behind Eglésia de Santa Maria. I am looking for a travelmate. I guess that you have returned from Spain. I have a plan to go Britian, France, and Spain.
