In the early days of my trip, my stats map showed visits from Australia, Vietnam and UK. It now shows only Asian visits even though most of the visits would have been from Australia. Where have they gone?

Also, if I am signed in and go to edit an entry, does this add to the total number of visits?

Thanks

Hi,

Stats reflect the activity on your account only for the past 12 months. If that data has now passed for some of those visits they would no longer appear as part of your stats .

If you are signed in and go to edit your entry you will not be counted as a visit. But if you go to *View* your blog or your entry you would be counted once. IP addresses who visit your entry are counted only once every so many days.....(I don't remember if it's 5 or 6 or 7 days) and that is for every IP address, that way no one can go to an entry and just keep going in and out of it to inflate the number of visits!

My trip was only for 4 weeks in Oct/Nov this year so no stats should have disappeared.

My map also has not changed since the first few weeks of trip. I know for sure that people have been looking at it from Australia and many other countries in South America, and yet they do not show up on the map.

Hiya! I know the map can be a bit frustrating. With the system we're using now, it's particularly challenging when there are only a few visits from each country.
