I must admit, number 3 caught my eye first. I like trees.

But, the tea house seemed the least generic, so that will probably get my vote.

So...much...to..think..about.

They're all really lovely. I like the teas house as well. I'm a sucker for cool architecture. yes.gif

Nah, too much foreground for me, same as the beachy one. Agree with the less generic comment though. Had to go with the sunset. I've been taking too many photos of them lately and that one's nicely balanced. Especially like the clouds..

I'm amazed the tea house has got such a response. It just seems very average to me.

Perhaps that is the one people would most like to be in...

I love TEA...so I would probably chose that one too. But I didn't...another one really got my interest for the magical factor...

I personally think the sunsets should be another category.

Even without being incredible, the cascade is the only one with intent, and also the nicest quality, so I voted for it.

It could be anywhere, but that is important to me too: no need to travel to have a traveler´s eye

I'm a tea-house girl myself....although I did like the beach as well - it was a close call.

I like the composition of those shots!

Ok, I went completely against my first reactions. Made what was apparently the popular choice. My mood today made it the one that made me wanna be there.

Nice enough photos but not a single one with a person in it? This topic should be renamed "Screensaver of the Month" or "Cheesy Jigsaw Puzzle of the Month".

Who picks these nominees anyway?

For me, the best photos are of people, usually locals, doing their local thing. There is no personality in a waterfall, no humanity in a sunset, no life story in a beach. I'll wait for next month's nominees.
