You've only done a "little" traveling? And yet you've been to Asia a "couple of times"? Wow. I have friends that have never been outside of a 100 mile radius of where they live now. You're better than "not very well travelled", at least.

I heartily agree. Coming from a relatively obscure state in the US, most of my friends from home have no interest in leaving their own county much less their own continent. You're a seasoned travel vet compared to them!

I've always wanted to sail on the Med...have a fabulous time! I'm so glad that you're exposing your son to so many cultures and experiences...if only my parents had done the same...he's a very lucky kid!

Thanks Matt, ye he is a luck kid and we are lucky to have the opertunity to do this. My parents never did anything like this with us as kids not that they didnt wont to but just could not afford it.
We have five kids all the others are a lot older and have thire own comitments now with work etc so wont be coming. We could never afford to go on family holidays with all the tribe due to the cost. The only family holidays we had with the kids were camping or local stuff. Its been 10 years since myself and my wife have been overseas together and the last time was Bali. We are looking forward to this trip. We have done other trips over the years but not together, my wife went last year on a all girls trip to Phuket. I went on a busness trip to Malina to look for staff but nothing together. Acually my wife is in Korea on a 3 week medatation camp at the moment.
Yes sailing the med has been on my list for a while now. We were going to do it in the whitsunday islands in Australia but thought Greese would be so much better. (and cheaper)

Asia is not that far from Austraila and Bali is a cheap holiday.
