Carnaval-yes or no?

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 29-November 09 Member No.: 545051 Nominate me as a Local Expert	So I am going to Rio de Janeiro to study abroad this coming spring and I was considering going early to experience Carnaval. I am a girl and would be going all alone does any one have any advice? Is it a crazy idea? If not, any reccomendations for good shows and accomodations? Hope to hear soon and cheeers!

I worked in 'Stone of a Beach' in Copacabana for 5 months, and you'll meet LOADS of sole travellers there!
