I actually just bought a pair of Keen Newports and Teva eVents (not a sandal shoe). Im really impressed with the Tevas so far but I have yet to do much outdoors with the Keens. Im looking to get a pair of Salomon Sport Amphibians next. My friend swears up and down about how great the Salomons are. Apparently they are sandal like shoes (http://www.salomonsports.com/us/#/footwear/footwear/sandals/sport-amphibian-2) Ill be putting my keens and tevas to the test in a couple weeks when I go to Gatlinburg, TN for some bikng and what not.

Well I took the Keens out for some hiking and biking yesterday. I must say im impressed considering I do not have the clip in style Keens. They did a great job on and off the bike and seriously was expecting to have some major slips and cuts from the pedals. I took them hiking the day before as well and I did get some pebbles in there but its expected. In all im impressed and now I want to get the clip in style. Enjoy!

Has anybody heard of Chaco sandals?

This site says there are three major brands, Teva, Keen and Chaco, but I've never heard of Chaco:

I came across Chaco brand while looking up Keen and Teva but I have yet to see/feel a pair. I must admit the Keens get more brownie points today. I rode them again on a trail and in the rain, the sandals still didnt slip. Im still nervous while biking in them, in the back of my head im thinking they will slip.

I guess it's all about developing "trust in your sandals" ha!

Hm... I am interested in these "Chacos" that I am hearing about. Oh, I can get them at MEC awesome. They don't look very rugged...

Flip flops all the way for me. If I'm going to climb a mountain I'll where my climbing boots.
Walk on the beach, hang in a hammock, chill around town or my room, thong style flip flops all the way.
