Nominate me as a Local Expert



I will be spending a week or so with my elderly parents holiday in the Nice area in June we would like to spend sometime in Mallorca . Are their any direct flights or high speed ferries.

The easiest route is to fly. Ironically, as close as France Spain and (I should mention) Italy are to each other, they're not very well connected transport wise. You'd probably have to fly from Nice to Barcelona and then Barcelona to Mallora. Or if you want to save money you can take the train from Nice to Barcelona, there will be one train change maybe two. And then fly or take a ferry from Barcelona to Mallorca.

I spent 3 hours blocked in Vintimiglia (Italian town on the France-Italy border) coming from Genoa just to reach Menton, 5 minutes away. TrenItalia and the SNCF are obviously not timed together...
