I was first introduced to Travelpod by watching Tech TV's Call for Help show a few years ago. One of the segments on the show is to recommend travel blogs sites. I tried the recommendations and ended up choosing Travelpod. My first posting was 2005 Trip to Japan.

Before I go on a trip or researching one , I've always search for posting by other travelers to learn and get tips. I found this very helpful. I have been to restaurants, sites...etc mentioned by other travelers with great results.

I live in Burnaby BC Canada - part of Greater Vancouver Area.

I've been to Australia, Japan, China, USA and post recently Egypt/Jordan.
I would love to go back to China for my next trip. I was in beijing China over 20 years ago.

Welcome to the club, PenguinX.

I also joined the site to exchange travel tips. Living in Seattle, I'm so close to Vancouver & have visited there a dozen times. I created a blog on Vancouver on this site. I love Canada & have also visited Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Ottawa, Toronto, & Halifax. In the future, I'd like to see Winnepeg, Regina, Yellowknife, & Whitehorse. You need tips on travel to Seattle or anywhere else in the US, I can gather info for you.

Well, we have a few things in common - sort of!

- I have a cousin who was born in Cananda over 50 years ago. His father enigrated to work for the Woodward Governor Company and they lived in Edmonton, Alberta.

- We have also just returned from a holiday in Egypt (Sinai) and Jordan

- I love TravelPod, too.
