If you're planning a long trip and you know you need to work to supplement your savings, where would you go and why?

I recommend New Zealand. The cost of living is not great. The value of life is high.
There is almost unlimited work in the areas of wineries, kiwi fruit orchaeds, etc....
and the country itself is awesome!

I would look at countries with a high need for English teachers. Probably Europe. I tend to save up for my trips over the course of years, so I don't have to work, but if I did, I'd join a teaching program.

I would not recommend Greece.....there are so many English teachers here!!!

You can get to the Island of Santorini and work as a waiter there.
We met some guys while there and told us that they get a lot of money there.

I can also recommend New Zealand. Especially if you are a Healthcare Worker. I wouldn't live there permanently but it's a great temp experience....
