Almost one year ago, a small team began working for a large website with the purpose of promoting Romania as a unique travel destination. Romania is an amazing country, but sadly her "branding" as a country and as a travel destination was horrible. The same cheap commercial myths - Dracula, vampires, Ceausescu and the same destinations were on every story about our
country. I'm not saying that these would not be fun to see, but Romania has LOTS more than that to offer. So, we've finnaly put online a website built around a community of former travelers, with galleries that gather the largest collection of images about Romania on the web, discussion forums, stories, concrete facts and lots of other info.

The project's name - the Spirit of Romania and the site - www.spirit.ro
Our questions now - except for what's already there, what else would you like to see on such a site? Do you have any comments regarding it? Write them in here or on spirit's forums!
