Welcome from me too, Mahmood.

I spent a short time in Lahore about 10 years ago and remember visiting Shalimar Gardens (another great achievement by Shah Jahan), Lahore Fort, the Badshahi Mosque and the Summit Minar but most of all enjoying strolls around several lovely parks to escape the noise of a busy city.

Hey Mahmood, welcome to Travelpod smile.gif

Pakistan is a top destination on my list. What are some of the best places to trek in your country?

Well, perhaps not. but yes, you can find me all the time for any sort of information regarding travel in Pakistan and espacially north of Pakistan, in mighty Karakoram, Himalayas and Hindukush mountain ranges.

There are many best treks, short and long, in deserts and junggles and mountains and glaciers. now you tell about your interest. want to travel across the cities or want to have a taste of wildered regions.

One thing i can bet on. After visiting the north of Pakistan you will say that region as horrifyingly beautifull, the beauty that aches your heart.
