Hello

It is my 40th birthday on 22nd November! And I am planning to meet friends and spend it in New York. Before this, I want to go somewhere really tropical. I have travelled a lot of S.E Asia, and of the Carribbean just been to Jamaica & Dom Rep. My friend went to Anguilla last July and loved it. She was lucky enough to of known someone who lived there so stayed with her but I heard the accommodation can be quite expensive?

I would ideally love to visit Anguilla and maybe two more of these Islands. Can anyone recommend a few? I don't mind paying for a bit of luxury but also don't mind back packing it for a few days.

My main concern though is the weather. I'd be going beginning of November. I think it is hurricane season but the tail end? Has anyone been in November?

Any recommendations and advice would be much appreciated to help me plan my big trip...
