Hi

Its getting closer till i start my around the world traveling and im starting to doubt it..

I keep thinking as i get closer am i do the right thing? Should i be doing this? Will i be that confident traveling alone to approach other people when meeting people?

Do other people ever feel like this?

Im know for sure im definatly not going to change my mind its something ive always wanted to do and if i hate it i can fly home.

I think another thing that also annoys me and puts these worries in my head is when i mention to people about it they say.

OMG on your own thats brave

Be careful!

Are you not scared.

If you want to change your mind you can.

Bring on April after X-mas it will soon whizz by :-D

OK Luke, we on Travelpod are going to be 100% different from the rest of your friends....GO FOR IT! You will never be alone, never fear, or as FDR said, the only thing you need to fear, is fear itself.

I had the impression that you were already chasing your dream somewhere out there!
As Martin said, don't have any fears....just go for it.

I wish I had such an opportunity to have this trip, and I am a woman! girl_cray2.gif
Plus that I would not care if I had to go all by myself. I would not be scared at all.
(Of course it depends as to where you really want to go).

I can't even explain my apprehension before my first trip! You sound like I did then!

Just go ahead with it, once you set foot on that plane, all that will disappear.
And, believe me, you won't miss anything at home--you'll get back home and virtually nothing will have changed.

Luke,

I know you like quotes, so here is one for you:

Your current safe boundaries were once unknown frontiers.

Once you get going you won't look back, block the negative influences around you out and go and live your life - the way YOU want to.

I completely agree with Gerre and everyone else. Fear and excitement are actually the same emotion, so your fear is actually a good thing. Have fun!!
