But, it doesn't feel as cold as it can around here. There is a huge difference between damp cold and dry cold. Out there it's very dry so it doesn't feel the same as -40 would here. Newbie Group: Members Posts: 9 Joined: 4-March 08 Member No.: 150375 Nominate me as a Local Expert	I grew up in northern Alberta, Canada. I once woke up to see the temperature at -51'C. That did not include windchill. I'm sad to say I didn't venture outside to find out exactly what that felt like. Last weekend here in Edmonton it was -35 with a -41 windchill and unfortunately I'm no stranger to these temperatures!

Hahah yay! Speaking of my previous post about experiencing -15°F with windchill. This morning when I went to my car it was -17°F after wind chill (that is -27°C). My windows re-froze once I got into the car and was driving about halfway to work. The funny part is that some that froze were not frozen to begin with. Last night the temperature in Miami dropped to 32F (0C), which was just a tad off of our all time record of 30F (-1C).
