Oh OK, since there are beaches involved, I suppose we can be friends again.

Hmm, something like -40 out in Saskatoon a couple of years back-ish. Freeezing. But, it doesn't feel as cold as it can around here. There is a huge difference between damp cold and dry cold. Out there it's very dry so it doesn't feel the same as -40 would here. No real humidity in the summer either. Excellent.

Haha! That's hilarious. I don't know the exact conversions, but I know them in my heart...that's what living right beside the US border for 18 years does for you.

I think it was in the -10 to -15°F range here in Ohio with wind chill on some horrible winter days.

Hottest is about 105°F but I am expecting about 140°F when I go to Egypt at the Valley of the Kings devil.png

I grew up in northern Alberta, Canada.

I once woke up to see the temperature at -51'C. That did not include windchill. I'm sad to say I didn't venture outside to find out exactly what that felt like.

Last weekend here in Edmonton it was -35 with a -41 windchill and unfortunately I'm no stranger to these temperatures!

Haha. Yeah, it can get pretty cold 'round these parts but you know? You just get used to it. You have to dress properly for it. That's the 'secret'. Layers Rich. It's all about the layers. And thermals when it's freee-eee-zing!

Hahah yay! Speaking of my previous post about experiencing -15°F with windchill. This morning when I went to my car it was -17°F after wind chill (that is -27°C). My windows re-froze once I got into the car and was driving about halfway to work. The funny part is that some that froze were not frozen to begin with. Sigh.

Minneapolis -37 C and that was air temperature. For wind chills, I have experienced far below that (and have the frost bite to prove it).

What a thrilling topic. Last night the temperature in Miami dropped to 32F (0C), which was just a tad off of our all time record of 30F (-1C). Last night was certainly the coldest I have ever felt in Miami!
