Hi

I am travelling end of February for two weeks from Pureto Princesa to Northern Palawan.

I often travel around S.E Asia and have never taken Malarial Pills (as when I have attempted to do so I get really bad night mares!).

I have heard that Palawan is a high risk for Malaria and I should take the pills. Please can you let me know your thoughts?

Check with your doctor and see if you can get by with doxycycline. Doxy may be cheaper too!

Hi many thanks for your reply, my doctor has recomended Doxy but has said they would make me sensitive to the sunlight, which is not great when I am a sunworshiper!
Have you taken Doxy? If so did you have many side effects?

Also, do you know what the weather is like in Palawan? The wather has been real bad and I think it is still raining....x
