Sazzad, I love the full moon. It is so lovely, and very powerful as well! There is nothing like sitting on a secluded beach at night, under the stars, with the open expanse of the ocean lying infront of you, and the moon beaming down as if it is smiling upon you! These are the times that make me feel small, like a speck, but in a very good way. There are so many beautiful places that have barely been touched by man. I think it goes to show that it is getting harder and harder to find places of pure peace and tranquility. But you're right, beautiful and peaceful places have a tendency to be destoyed rather quickly. I guess all we can do is take the most from our experiences, share our stories with others and remember them for our lifetime. I can only imagine what it would be like to live as Robinson Crusoe did. My dad read the story to me when I was young and I have never forgotten it.

I loved Mancora in Peru. It is a nice beach but the best part was the atmosphere. We stayed at a decent hotel for 5 bucks a night on the beach. We layed on the beach by day, ate at amazing beach side restaurants and hit the clubs at night. We didn't want to leave!

The best beach I've ever seen is called Bounty Beach on Malapascua Island in the Philippines. The whole island is paradise!! The whole time I was there all I thought was that I was in paradise, well recommened to anyone going to Cebu. A top notch destination!!!

Definitely Bwejuu beach on Zanzibar - Perfect.

Not normally being a beach person it takes something pretty amazing to get me raving about a beach. Pure white sand as far as you can see. Accommodation in a basic but clean beach house in the middle of the village. Kids coming past every so often with trays of little doughnut things and other treats to sell through the day. Choice of fish, crab or lobster with rice for dinner each night according to the local catch (until you have been there a few nights and they know that you now know the lobster never comes).

Of course this was in 1990 and there was talk back then about resorts being built on the island. Would love to go back, but if the resorts are there it would just ruin the whole thing.

best beach in the world so far has to be Winnifred Beach (poor people's beach) in Port Antonio in Jamaica.....not yet bought by Sandals despite several attempts which have led to protests by local people.

white sand, clear warm tropical water, cold beer and rice and peas......

Don't know many beaches around the world... but up to now my favourite is Mazunte, on the pacific coast of Mexico... Remote enough, but still with small restaurants to eat fresh fish, a few guesthouses to hang your hammock...
While staying there I constantly felt the urge to do nothing

Cool, was the first place i thought of when i saw the title ... as you say its not "wow amazing great" but its just right, Mezunte <3

Another i enjoyed was north Queensland .. perfect beach and sea one side and then Rainforest for exploring on the otherside

Bombo Beach, Kiama Australia (although only at night , it loses its appeal during day for me)

panamenian beaches are beautiful is like paradise they have the caribean and the pacific
and i think prices they do are the best of the world

I loved the beaches in the Seychelles (islands off East Africa)...as well there are some pristine beaches in South Africa where you can walk for miles in the fine powder sand without seeing a soul. The ones in Australia are worth a mention but I guess it depends on what you are after. I was very disappointed with the beaches in Greece.

I lived in Greece for ten years and found plenty of absolutely world-class beaches. I bet you only went to Mykonos and Santorini. If you ever go back, try: Koukounaries on Skiathos, Platys Gialos on Cephalonia, and Falassarna on Crete
