Hi, has anybody visit Spain during the famous parties. I'm talking about La Tomatina and san Fermin! It looks like it's lots of fun. Nothing like throwing tomatoes or running away from bulls. Well If you have done it, tell me about it, I really want to know the whole story!

Listen Caro!....Let me be honest with you. When you are in Spain...the parties just dont stop smile.gif They are a very fun loving people. You will see when you get there that there is never a shortage of people to party with at any time of the day. These people have been learning the art of partying for quite some time.

Cheers and let us know how it goes!

Ah Spain, party capital of the world. I remember when I was young and my body could take it.

Back in 98, I did a campervan trip of Europe, and first stop on the van tour is always Pamps. The campground was around 8 k's out of town, and there were parties there non stop. The day before the runs, is San Fermin day. Everyone gathers in the town square, where they chuck eggs, cava, mustard, flour, tomato sauce and whatever else. They also chuck it at the camera men, and when the major comes out, they also pelt him with everything. It is great. As soon as this is finished, everyone goes to the muscle bar area, where people then climb a statue and they jump off into the waiting arms of the people below. Very dangerous. Also, once the first girl takes off her top and bra, a girl is not allowed to jump !!! Girls, were not allowed to run the following day, when the runs started

In 2002, I went back. My friend managed to get us a really cheap room. We did the same things, but nobody out parties the Spanish. They drink, collapse, awaken and drink. This goes on for ten days. On the the second day, we bought a balcony. Really cheap. We could not believe the amount of people and they were walking the route. There were also girls. Once the streets had been cleared of these people, the proper run took place, and it was men only.

I do love Pamps, but it is very hard on the body

La Tomatina is in a town called Bunyol, I think. A train ride from Valencia. This I have never done because the girls who I know who have gone said that there is a sinister element about it. After a while, everyone is covered in tomatoes, but then the Spanish guys go around trying to rip the tops off of girls, now maybe this might be fun for you, but my friends did not enjoy it, and a friend of mine was beaten up for trying to protect his girlfriend. Because of this Lucinat and myself will never go

Still, Spain is awesome and Pamps goes off. In fact, the whole of Spain goes off so you will have a greta time

I hope this helps you
