Hi!

First of all, I wanted to thank you all for creating and maintaining this wonderful site. I've been using Travelpod for years, and I love how easy it is to update and upload pictures! Great work!

I've been wanting to reorganise things for a while, specifically break up some travelogues that have lots of entries. Short of manually copying and pasting text, resetting map pins, and reuploading all the pictures, is there some way to quickly move an entry from one travelogue to another? For pictures, there's the "Move to another entry" option, but that's only for within the same travelogue, as far as I can tell.

(If there is such an option, and I'm just not seeing the "CLICK ME!" button, my apologies!)

Thanks!

M-A

I wish I had better news but there is no way way to do that.

You will have to manually create new entries and copy and paste all the data and photos overt to it!

I also love love love my Travelpod blog! I also have wanted to move things around, even while I am writing I sometimes want to move the just written paragraph to lower in the same entry to make it have better flow..etc...I cannot get it to copy and paste. I highlight and right click and it comes up with select all features etc but not the "copy and paste" menu. What am I doing incorrectly?...........Jodie..................

Instead of the copy option is the cut option there ...you could cut the data and then paste it. It would be really strange that neither option would be available.

You could mail me a screen shot the screen that shows the options you do have. Send it to support@travelpod.com.

It will be Internet Explorer or Firefox or Chrome.

When you're in the browser, it will say it right up in the bar at the very top of the window.

To find the version, go under the Help menu and select "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox", etc...

Interesting. I just checked it out under Internet Explorer 7 and you're absolutely right! There's no Copy option when you right click!!!? I can't believe it!?

I'm not sure if there's anything that we can do on our side. It's the browser itself that takes care of that.

I guess the easiest thing to do is to use the keyboard.

ctrl-c for copy
ctrl-x for cut
ctrl-p for paste

I'm baffled as to why it's not a option when you right click, but the keyboard shortcuts can be used in any piece of software, so it's a handy skill to know.

you are a "doll" It is Internet Explorer and probably version 7....I use the copy and paste function all the time so it threw me for a loop when it didn't work. I will use the keyboard option and that will be perfect!! Thanks so very much for your help.

An other option might be for you to upgrade your Internet Explorer to a newer version!

Internet Explorer 8:

Internet Explorer 9 Beta

Jaques...

Thank you for the links! I will think that over as I wonder now how many other areas of use that I am used to would be altered by upgrading my browser. I will look into that and see. I have been simply not using the copy and paste function when on TravelPod for all these years of entries. This new ability by being reminded to use the keyboard will be a boo to my writing and sharing experience!

You guys are great!

Jodie
