Typing 'Half Moon Cay' in Google Earth's search box should bring it up OK.

It's between Eleuthera and Cat Island. Access Google Maps and type in: Little San Salvador Island, Bahamas.

Carnival Cruise owns islands? Geez, I'm out of the loop!

They don't own it all, just a bit of it.

Anyway, just to get you back in the loop, as we miss you:
The following Cruise Lines have Private Islands in the Caribbean for their guests:

* Castaway Cay, Bahamas - Disney Cruise Line
* Half Moon Cay, Bahamas - Holland America Line
* Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas - Norwegian Cruise Line
* Princess Cays, Bahamas - Princess Cruises
* CocoCay, Bahamas - Royal Caribbean
* Labadee, Hispaniola - Royal Caribbean

Even Sandals Resort has it's own offshore private island

Half Moon Key was an entirely uninhabited island purchsed by Holland America to be used as a "beach" stop on their Caribbean cruises. There are lots of beach style activities but no "sightseeing tours" per se. Simply said, there is lots of beach, a replica "Bahamian village" and the rest of the island is maintained as a well protected nature preserve. No carriages, but they do have horseback riding.
