Hai All,
I am planning to travel to Malaysia by next April 2010. I have interest in backpack traveling. I like natural beauty than city beauty. Some blog is really helpful, like the one "Kuala Lumpur starter kit". thanks mate. Though I dont want to stick in KL. I will go for highland or forest or beach.
Please can any one make my trip plan in cheap & exiting. I will be delighted.

hi, u may want to visit Borneo island, sabah and sarawak. If you are into scuba diving in Sipadan island and mountain climbing , Mt Kinabalu in Sabah, then Sabah is the place. If you wish to visit Sarawak, go explore Mulu caves, see the profile of Abraham lincoln on a cave, watch over 3million bats coming out in evening scourging for food, the Pinnacles and longhouse visits, then you must visit sarawak. cheers, borneokid bestKuchingHotels.com

Hello there, when you are in KL, try to look for a budget hostel near all those important amenities, especially the transportation. Backpacker in KL is quite reasonable, one of those I can suggest is Wheelers Guest House. You more details from their website at :- http://wheelersguesthouse.blogspot.com

[ b]Thanx, I will try to find the trip details to West Coast.[/b]QUOTE(cozzielex @ Nov 12 2009, 08:53 PM) A lot of people like the east coast because of the resorts, but you might want to check out the west coast. Going south there is Port Dickson and Malacca or going north there is Ipoh and Penang which is great. Be sure to try the nonya food!

Beside Kuala Lumpur that you decided to go, if you like nature, I’d recommend you 2 places you should go: Miri Mulu and Kuching:
- Miri is on the coast of the South China Sea. There are beautiful beach that will give you satisfaction when you take the warm sunny and explore friendly tropical beach. From Miru to Mulu, it’s the easy way by air or cruise by river so that you can enjoy sightseeing and breathing the fresh air. There are many interesting places attract in Miri Mulu: Mulu Caves National Park, Lotus Hill, Lambir Hills National Park, Niah National Park, etc…
- Kuching is located on the banks of the Sarawak River, which is a lively and beautiful town on a river. There also many interesting place such as: Damai Beach, Ching Shan Yan Temple, Jong’s Crocodile Farm…
Hope you will enjoy all of them and have a great trip.

If you like natural beauty, you'll love Peninsular Malaysia's Eastern Seaboard. Just two of the reasons we like this stretch? The endless jungle, the deafening silence. Bonus reason: the awesome beaches Whenever we crave a hefty dose of rest and peaceful quiet or just some time away from the ever-present big-city throngs, we just hop over to the Seri Buat Archipelago, for instance. Tioman, one of the archipelago's many islands, boasts spectacular landscapes and seascapes that simply take our breath away. Best of all, there are plenty of locations for backpackers there, like Salang, to enjoy the countless beach activities and outdoors fun on offer in Tioman. That said, the mainland areas North and South of Mersing have us coming back for more too; Desaru, Air Papan, Tanjung Resang, all are stunning capes with lots of pristine wilderness and plenty of opportunities for good old-fashioned fun in the sun. Sailing, kite-surfing, windsurfing, stand up paddling, or just snorkeling, scuba diving or jungle-trekking. We're loving it all. Check it out some time eh. Cheers. Bryan Norman Malaysia Sea Sports

So to say, there too many tourist attraction around Malaysia and I simply find countless attraction to be discovered week by week and to me 3 days is not enough and most opf the packages offered online did not manage to fill up the 3 days vacation that most tourists had.
