Newbie Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: 9-August 07 Member No.: 78220 Nominate me as a Local Expert	Sri Lankans are very kind and peace loving people... Its a model country to the whole world... They suffer 30years of Terrorisam but from 21st May 2009 All peace loving people got freedam from Terrorisam... Its true.. Now peace restore and infarstructer of North and North East is doing by Gov. Road condition has been improved now in many part of the country and its saving time of travaling.. This is the time to vist to this Beautifull Island... Once you vist you will realice how wonderfull it is.... There are 5world heritage sites too... If any one interested to know about Where to see what to doo.. Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 18-January 11 Member No.: 1646711 Nominate me as a Local Expert	November and April is the best time to visit this region and this period is also considered as tourist season in Srilanka. May to September is the best time to visit east coast, as it is dry during this period. Hence, Sri Lanka is round-the-year destination-there is always a good time to visit at least some part of the country.

From my own research, there are several nature conservation projects that would be worth supporting. (1) the turtle conservation project in Rekawa where the big leaterbak and the green turtles visit the beach to lay their eggs. (2) the blue whales will also arrive in front of the shores of South Sri Lanka. What a wonderful world!
