The secret is to write nice entries and post several beautiful pictures that will help travellers when they choose to visit the place you are describing. Promoting is prohibited. It is no need to be travelling somewhere to start a blog. You can write about the are you stay and live. Have a look on other members blogs to get the picture and good luck.
