Hi all,

Has anyone been to Iceland and can advise on how many days are optimal to see just the best bits of it? I'm going from the UK and flights are expensive, so as I'm only likely to go once, I'm thinking of doing a round trip that incorporates more than just Iceland....so a flight route that covers Iceland, Greenland and New York (on the basis that you can only get to Greenland from Iceland, so would need to do both at the same time, and the basis that I've never been to New York and can fly there from Iceland for cheaper than from UK and cheaper than the return flight from Iceland would be)

In total, I'm thinking the above would be a two week holiday, so just trying to best proportion it!

Can anyone help?
Thanks
Kathryn
