I went with the cheetah, as this is a rare sighting, and captured very well.

I just don't seem to understand the monthly nominees for photo of the month.
#5???

There are some extraordinary pictures on the featured page. I can't understand how some of those magnificent pictures are not monthly nominees. Go to the featured page on any random given day and I guarantee that the five on the top of the page will be better than the five nominated here for best of the month.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder I guess!

There are many beautiful photos that are featured on TravelPod!

I actually use several of them as the background on my computer!

There are so many great ones, that I can change the background often and always have an awesome background!

i have to agree....
i would like to add that usually you never see photos of the month with "people in them" - i'd like to see the next batch include people in them...all 5 photos...that would be different for a change smile.gif

Well, I went for the bee, but only after I looked closely at the photo and realized the little fellows hands were clasped together as if praying for votes.
But i for one do like number five, but I also like tramping through the maine woods. I would love to walk down that dirt drive and explore what is not in the picture.

Absolutely, I've looked at all these photos a number of times now and I keep coming back to number 5 - its so lush and green and I just want to see what is around the corner of that track - I keep wondering where it goes.

5 gets my vote.
