http://www.eyeflare.com/article/pilots-and...life-exchanges/

From an unknown aircraft waiting in a very long takeoff queue:

Unknown aircraft: "I'm f...ing bored"

Tower Air Traffic Control: "Last aircraft transmitting, identify yourself immediately".

Unknown aircraft: "I said I was f...ing bored, not f...ing stupid."

Tower: "Eastern 702, cleared for takeoff, contact Departure on 124."

Eastern 702: "Tower, Eastern 702 switching to Departure. By the way, after we lifted off we saw some kind of dead animal on the far end of the runway".

Tower: "Continental 635, cleared for takeoff, contact Departure on 124. Did you copy that report from Eastern 702?"

Continental 635: "Continental 635, cleared for takeoff, roger; and yes, we copied Eastern and we've already notified our caterers...."

Funny. There are more at the link at the top.

Those were hilarious!!! I didn't know the pilots could hear and speak to each other...!! I thought it was just with the control tower - I'm glad it's not, as there's some funny pilots out there!!!

Thought the irate female "wife" one was hilarious, and this one too...

Tower: "Delta 351, you have traffic at 10 o'clock, 6 miles!"

Delta 351: "Give us another hint! We have digital watches!"

.....but they were all funny!

I wonder if those German / English ones are real. It seems like they are too good to be a real occurrence.

As long as they are passenger planes, and they're not armed, I guess it would have been jovial, and won't start a 3rd World War wink.gif

I hope they all saw the funny side anyway as we have when reading them smile.gif

If you really look like your passport photo, you need the holiday!

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
