driving through mexico alone????

Hello all, I'm driving from San Diego through baja then taking a ferry to the mainland and then down along the coast to to Costa Rica with my dog. Anyone feel like caravanning? Departting from San Diego mid-late December.

Yes, in Costa Rica, I lived on top of a mountain and getting hungry late at night with no food in the apt meant there was no fast food I had access to. Have you ever been in a tough situation where you really did not know what to do?
