cheap central europe travel..?

I will agree with lar. Buses, especially between Poland and Austria and Czech, is cheaper and probably more safer. I felt safer on buses. They may not be as comfortable as sleepers in trains but the ride is smooth with only a few stops.

Tried to drive to Poland one day with a mate, just to see if we could. We hadn't even got through France before giving up when we realised that, no, we couldn't do it in a day - not without losing our licenses.

... are pretty, but snobbish. Slovak girls are much nicer in character, but the beer is AWFUL, wine pretty OK. Ukrain?? Stay away from, tourist trap, and they WILL rip you off, and try to marry you off. Nice place is Budapest. Poland, beer awful, women OK.
