Well, don't take a taxi... that would defeat the point of going on standby... I'm not sure how much airport transfers are. I'd guess $15/$20 on a shuttle of some sort.

My Dublin flight leaves from Newark at 7 p.m. on Sat. May 30th. I waited too long for a good deal from DFW to EWR and the non-stop prices went up and are staying, so I will probably go standby on AA to get to EWR. If necessary, I'll go to JFK or LGA ...

Nothing new to me. I've seen many "roadkill cook-offs" on the Travel Channel & the Food Network. (Andrew Zimmern eats a lot of "roadkill".) There's a lot I'd like to try but are not available in my area.

Personally I am disappointed you guys have left a slice of pizza... I think that slice was gone before we left. I heard the pizza was very good. My ceviche was also very very tasty.
