Siem Reap is only 8 or 9 km from Angkor Wat, think all the accommodation is there :-)

Last I knew, only the Bavet (Svay Rieng) border with Vietnam would allow visa at border from that direction (a couple of others if you are coming from Thailand). If you fly in, you can get a Visa at the airport. Otherwise, pop along to the consulate/ ...

It's an amazing spot! Definitely worth the visit!!! Also the country has many different facets to offer any traveller! One of my favourites!
