I've never been to Jamaica, but I don't think the Bahamas is THAT touristy. It depends on what part of the island you are on, definitely.

... hehehe. I personally LOVE Puerto Rico, St. Vincent, the Cayman Islands and Trinidad. They're all so unique and fun in their own way. St. Lucia, Grenada and BVI and USVI are all nice too. Not too fond of Jamaica nor the Bahamas though.. very touristy

Just got back from Jamaica and now planning the trip to Italy. Any suggestions on which part to go to?? Roma! Venice is lovely as well. I did not enjoy Florence though.

12 & 19 I'd say are my biggest pet peeves about people who go on package holidays, grrrr! I think my fave would be the flight time comment from Jamaica! (But yeah, hard to decide - too funny!!)

i've heard there is a regular cargo boat that can accomodate a couple of passengers from Kingston, Jamaica to Trujillo, Honduras.. it's a great handy route.. I will head down the docks one day and see if i can clarify how regular it is..
