I am trying to figure out how to get from Carate to Sirena station and back besides hiking. I understand there is no boat and only a plane that is something like $400 each way does someone have any other information?

Try this website, it uses a number of search engines to find prices for multiple airlines. www.farecompare.com it links with Expedia, Travel Zoo plus a couple of other travel search engines. Let me know how you go....
