... at the Anchor Bar. I used to go for the great summer music festivals like Edgefest and Warped Tour. There's a pretty happening underground music scene in Buffalo, with all KINDS of punk and ska bands. Also, back in the day, there were killer raves.

Yep. I agree with you there. I also would say the entire "rust belt" Detroit, Buffalo, etc. etc. They are remnants of a more prosperous era. While it's a real place it's nothing like what America really is or can be.

Beaches in Buffalo? I've never heard of that. In the punch-up, who usually won, the Canuks or the Yanks? I guess judging by the name it was just a "friendly" punch-up. I wonder if they used to throw people off Niagara Falls.

Yeah actually, when I lived in Fort Erie near Buffalo, we had this festival called the "Friendship Festival" that went from July 1-July 4, with concerts and stuff... it usually was pretty friendly, but every so often there was some anti-American/ ...
