... hopping about a little bit....you could do a day or two in phuket....a day in phi phi which is a two hour ferry and then a day or two in krabi which is another 2 hour ferry ride. please dont let bangkok and phuket be the only things you see of thailand

October welcomes the Phuket Vegetarian Festival in Thailand. There are some very interesting rituals and celebrations taking place during this time; October 18th to October 26th. Anyone in Phuket will have a hard time missing this festival!
