Beaches in Nasugbu, Batangas are pretty decent by Philippines standard. The best ones are pretty out of reach for your short stint. But you can visit them on your extended trip here. Getting to Nasugbu is easy. You can either take a bus or public AUVs ...

yeah, pueto gallera is the best place if you want a nice beach near manila. but still boracay and palawan is a must see place if you want an awesome whitesand beaches. YEAH i agree.. the best beaches are still in the visayas areas ...

If you're headed to the Philippines, don't drink the water. There has been a really bad typhoid outbreak in Calamba City, which is near Manila and it's far from being contained...

... negros by plane in 45 minutes, or by bus for 6 or 7 hours. that's a hell of time. from negros island you can hop to iloilo island by a ship thats less than an hour for a cheap fare... anywhere in visayas you can access a daily trip to manila (luzon)
