I went to Puerto Maldonado and wish I had gone to Manu or Iquitos. My only advise is make sure you know exactly what you are getting for your money. I got a blog at www.travelpod/members/dzasta or you may be able to navigate from here hope it helps

Hi Aumber, I haven't been to Manu. Closest I got was to Puerto Maldonado. Manu is pretty remote even by Peruvian standards, which is why it is so attractive for wildlife viewers. Here is a slew of blogs regarding the Manu Biosphere. I have my feelers ...
