Is an all inclusive (meals and drinks) at $75.00 US per person per day a good deal in Mancora, Peru? This would be fabulous in Cancun, Mexico. The $75.00 US does NOT include airfare, taxi, room for six nights..just 3 meals per day and drinks). ...

Thanks. I know all the big beach areas are in the North (Mancora, Piura, etc) but I think I'll be pressed for time and money if I go to Cusco and Ancon.

We actually just came from Mancora and spent a whole week there! It was awesome - nice beach, great people, awesome atmosphere. We stayed at Sol y Mar for 5 bucks a night - can't beat the beach location and it has a pool. Have an ice cream cocktail ...

... there and learn spanish at the same time. this time of year the best place to go surfing is north of Lima called Mancora. Mancora has sunshine and surfing all year long. I am going to Lima then headed for Mancora at the end of this month or next month.

I loved Mancora in Peru. It is a nice beach but the best part was the atmosphere. We stayed at a decent hotel for 5 bucks a night on the beach. We layed on the beach by day, ate at amazing beach side restaurants and hit the clubs at night. We didn't ...
