I went to Puerto Maldonado and wish I had gone to Manu or Iquitos. My only advise is make sure you know exactly what you are getting for your money. I got a blog at www.travelpod/members/dzasta or you may be able to navigate from here hope it helps

I did a trip to the jungle from Iquitos, it was fantastic, make sure you have long sleeved shirts and trousers to fend off the mosquitos at dusk! If you're combining your trip with a visit to machu picchu there are some good tips here .

Hello I did a travel for 4 days to the Reserve Pacaya Samiria (near Iquitos) and was the best trip of my life. The guide was exceptional. I hope you passes very well Un saludo.
