Can anyone suggest the best and least expensive way to get from the International airport to downtown Panama City? I'm told that a taxi is over $50 USD. I have to go straight to the Intercontinental Hotel to meet my fellow travelers, and $55 ...

I recently returned from a vacation there as well. We stayed at the Melia Panama Canal, but I have to say that the canal area has changed a lot since the last time I was there in the mid nineties. I have been there on business as well, good experience.
