Just thought you might like to see a photo of the road at the beginning starting at below Arrowtown going over the Crown Range mountains to Wanaka. This is the area where Shania Twain bought here New Zealand hideout ----many, many acres.

New Zealand is a place where you can do pretty much whatever you want you will for sure be in store for beautiful scenery, inspiring nature, and good people. That was my experience anyway. I would recommend Wanaka, Milford Sound, Lake Taupo, Christchurch ...
