... days is that some countries don't stamp your passport any more, especially within Europe. Sometimes they won't stamp it even if you ask. Some years ago we were in Monaco and got a free entry stamp at the tourist office in the railway station.

What do you think about Staint-Tropez, Cannes, and Mannaco? Overpriced, over hyped and full of orange people. Avoid Monaco when the Grand Prix is on. It's full and even more expensive!

Antibes is a nice town to base yourself in. Its less expensive than Cannes, Nice and certainly Monaco but its very easy to reach all of these cities as day trips from Antibes. We're talking from approx. 30 min to 1:30 distance time by train. Antibes ...

Am amazed Tokyo doesn't get on there. Monaco is a weird country as it is a very small place where in general only rich people live. Yeah, aren't taxes like, a $100,000 one time payment or something?

Nice is also a good base to do some day trips... For example spending the day in Monaco. Thats a much less expensive way to visit rather than actually sleeping over.
