Getting to Xilita from Mexico Norte

I am having difficulty getting practical advice on getting from Mexico Norte to Xilita in a day. Is it possible by bus? I get as far as Jalpan from Queretaro, then it appears I need to spend the night? Any help would be be appreciated.

Hola 1144. Fui a la escuela in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. Looks like we have similar interests. I've been to Jalisco, Michoacan, Aguas Caliente, Colima, Queretaro and Baja California, Mexico.
