... on public beaches is not enouraged ( unless it's very early and beaches are deserted;-)). wearing a thong is acceptable.. anyway you can check my picture gallery for pictures of mauritius and beaches.. have a fantastic holiday and a safe trip;-)

I can personally recommend the people at www.holidays-mauritius.travel/ as having some great local knowledge - not sure if this covers purchasing holiday homes though - but am sure they can point you in the right direction
