I loved Malaysia when I went last year. Cameron Highlands were great and we stayed a few days doing some trekking in the forest and tea plantations. Temperature is about 10C cooler than in KL. I loved Taman Negara as well. Running aronud in the rainforest ...

I agree with Jeremy - Cameron Highlands sounds like a good place for you. Also Taman Negara, which is a big rainforest natural park, loads of outdoorsy stuff to be done there. I'd say its easy enough to organise your own transport there from KL when ...

Melaka is great as it is a World Heritage site and the food is fantastic....also Cameron Highlands is a must....very lush and green (the vegie belt of Malyasia)
