travel to monte cassino - Monte Cassino travel question

we are thinking about a trip to Italy and seeing Monte Cassino. My Dad fought in WWII in Italy and Monte Cassino. anyone have any suggestions. we are thinking of going in May or June of 2011 thank you Margaret Shellenberger
